Overview

•Vitamin B6: 25 mg a day is above the 12 mg/day EU upper limit (EFSA 2023), though within the US limit of 100 mg/day. Taking more than this for months is linked to nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy: numbness, tingling or pain in hands and feet), which usually improves after stopping.
•Sulfonamide antibiotics: PABA directly antagonises their antimicrobial effect
•Contains 200 mcg biotin; notify clinicians prior to laboratory testing as it can distort cardiac troponin and thyroid immunoassays.
•Riboflavin causes harmless bright yellow urine discoloration, which is an expected physiological effect.
•Stop and get advice if: peripheral tingling, numbness, or burning sensations in hands or feet
