•Separate iron from levothyroxine, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates, calcium, antacids, and mineral supplements because absorption can be reduced.
•Source warnings note not to take with chloramphenicol or retinoids; vitamin A as retinol acetate also warrants caution with isotretinoin or other high-vitamin-A products.
