•Severe renal impairment: reduced clearance of magnesium and calcium creates toxicity risk
•Supplies 500 mg supplemental magnesium, exceeding the EFSA 250 mg and NAM 350 mg daily supplemental limits; may cause loose stools or diarrhea.

Dosage & Bioavailability
How the active doses and forms in Calcium Magnesium with Vitamin D3 Tablets compare to the research.
•Calcium (as calcium citrate) — 1,000 mg a day; within the 800-1,000 mg/day used in studies. Calcium citrate is one of the better-absorbed, well-studied forms of calcium.
•Magnesium (as magnesium oxide, magnesium citrate) — 500 mg a day is over the 350 mg/day upper limit (IOM (NIH ODS)). A less well absorbed form than magnesium glycinate or magnesium bisglycinate.
•Vitamin D3 — 10 mcg a day, which covers the daily reference intake (5 mcg EU NRV, 20 mcg US DV); below the therapeutic studied range but covers the daily reference intake.
